Emily Swann
BAET, R. Kin., CAT (C)
As an Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist, I am passionate about helping people reach their goals by optimizing movement in everyday life, work, and sport. With a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy, I apply evidence-based knowledge and hands-on skills in musculoskeletal injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance.

I recently returned to my hometown of Qualicum Beach after spending the past eight years in Victoria and Vancouver, where I gained valuable experience across a range of clinical and fitness settings. My background includes work in private healthcare, multidisciplinary clinics, personal training environments, and adaptive fitness and rehabilitation centres, supporting clients of all ages and abilities.

Living an active and healthy lifestyle has always been important to me and strongly influenced my career path. Prior to my post-secondary education, I worked as a Taekwondo instructor for over 10 years. During this time, I trained with Team BC Taekwondo and competed in national and international competitions, gaining insight and mentorship from Olympic coaches and athletes.

My goal is to enhance movement in a way that is effective, enjoyable, and sustainable. I take a compassionate, client-centred approach, meeting clients where they are and developing strategies that align with their individual needs and goals.

I look forward to connecting!
